Warm plates II

I’ve been really, really busy lately. That’s the excuse. Anyway …

While holidaying in London, we happened across a nondescript Asian eatery (an amazingly abhorrent blend of Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, and whatever else it could grab its hands on,) at the end of a night trawling Oxford Street. I had reservations (not the calling-and-booking-a-table kind) but it was getting late and it looked acceptable.

Turns out, I was wrong.

Terrible faux-Asian food in London

The food was so terrible we couldn’t finish it, but instead I opted to display my dissatisfaction in a painstakingly ornate manner. Yes, each grain of rice was carefully selected for its shape and colour, aligned one by one with chopstick precision.
