Cooking with the Cuz

Tim came over last Tuesday night, all set to cook up a storm. We had worked out three courses: entrée, mains and dessert. I don’t usually make desserts without J’s help (I blanket this ignorance with the line “I cook mains!”) so Tim decided on that all by himself, but I did pick up a couple of neat tricks :)

While Tim was waiting on me to finish prepping the entrée and mains, slowly becoming bored, he decided to tack on an amuse-bouche (it is French for ‘yum’ ‘mouth amuser’) which turned out very nicely.

It was a lot of fun and a great success (stuffed as I was afterwards.)
